Neoregelia Star Blast “Skotak”

A new Chester Skotak  release for 2012.  (Registration and cross information pending)  A colorful, stoloniferous miniature with an upright, funnelform shape.  The plants have stiff leaves that are dark green with bold central variegation.  A pattern of reddish dots loosely forming bars on both sides of the leaves.  With strong light this plant takes on a deep pinkish-red veneer. 

A real beauty that is great for forming a cluster of plants in a pot, a basket or on a mount.  Well suited for a terrarium.
